Sometimes, if generated in the middle of a commit, they won't work.
But usually that is the latest code where we add fixes.

I think most people, especially beginners or newcomers to CW, should use
the 1.2 branch. I personally feel that branch should always compile. New
things should only be added to that branch when they've "proven
themselves" in the trunk. We might want to think about doing snapshots
from there as well (probably just when something new is added). The next
RC should probably come from that branch also, as trunk should be more
of a staging area and things have been known to break there.
