It might be worth (diplomatically) mentioning this problem on the Asterisk 
mailing lists since this sort of behaviour reflects badly on Digium 
themselves (even if Calltech is actually nothing to do with them).

Just a thought...

(I have recollections of the Beryl vs. Compiz problems when a Compiz 
supporter went and destroyed the Beryl website - a situation which just 
ends up bad for all concerned).
