Dear PD,

You may jump in any time and thank you for your post.

There is no doubt that the Hun's, the Chea's, the Heng's and their
associates have created their own dynasty using their CPP communistic
infrastructures
to control Cambodia. If you look around Cambodia, you will see their huge
commercial billboards engraving the three CPP gangs smiling at you... The
billboards like that are supposed to be used for commercial advertisement and
paid
for by private companies. The CPP is using public funds all year round to
advertise their party, party's leaders and to make it known that they are in
Cambodia permanently. It will take years and tons of money to remove those
billboards. The CPP headquarters are bigger and nicer than most state buildings
and
the CPP party's leaders live better than Cambodian royalty. This indicates
how the CPP leaders value their Party... The Party is first, then everyone
else is last.

I am afraid you are right, that there will be more defectors to the CPP.
Some will just be too old, tired and quit. It's logical. Non-CPP Cambodian
politicians are facing with moral, ethical and financial bankruptcy. Many of
them
are in politics hoping to become "somebody" and for personal interests. How
much longer can those people stick around to confront intimidation, rejection,
frustration in a rat racing political "bridge to nowhere?"

Despite all the challenges, Cambodians must come together to save our
nation. Millions of courageous people came out to vote for the non-CPP
parties.
They are the truest foundation for Cambodian solutions and we must not let
them
down. They bet their life against the CPP. That's why responsible politicians
and political leaders have to do things differently now. They must unite. It
is a huge waste of money, energy and time to go on with the "status quo."

Enough excuses!

Have a great day.

Virak

Sorry to jump in Lok Virak, Savun,

Cambodia is moving toward a strict one party rule. Hun Sen is grooming Hun
Manet to take over.

I can see that if there were to be any change, it would only come out of the
CPP itself, because Cambodia is the CPP and vice versa. When the former
communist controlling structure is intact, as has been, it will be absolutely
futile for any opposition to play any meaninful politics.

But I agree, till then the two main opposition parties must merge and
prepare for the next time, which I think will be more chaotic because more
opposition people will be competing to defect to obtain positions with the CPP
after
they have done five year apprenticship with the SRP, Sihanouk will die, the
yuon children will come of age and play active role in Khmer society, etc. The
whole landscape will change, but not in favour of the darkie blackie Khmer,
because they are the dumbass, lazy majority who only know how to trudge
barefooted all the way from Samlaut to beg for the top thief Hun Sen's mercy
in
solving their land disputes.

Cambodians don't believe in democracy but primitive feudalism. Look at the
longmouthful titles which I almost choke to death every time I ever try to
pronounce them.

( there is a river near my place called Windor from which I just came back
visiting a few people a few minutes ago).

Dear Lok Savun,

Now that we know who is who among Cambodian politicians, it make more sense
to start talking about unity. The "HOW" can be worked out among those who
have guts to set aside their egotism by putting the country's interests first.
I
have always supported and will continue to support the unity among all
opposition forces. The hardest part is to find a workable formula for such a
unity
that is acceptable for all "leaders".

I was hoping that HRP could win more seats so it could help balance things
out after the election. We tried our best to unite with other parties before
the election, but we failed. We also did our best to bring our messages to the
people asking for their vote during our campaign in July 2008... but the
people could not exercise their rights freely. Some two million Cambodian
voters
could not vote; nevertheless, our messages have been heard throughout the
nation.

>From my personal involvement and experience during the past electoral
process; if there is no change in electoral system, no unity among the
oppositions,
the CPP will always "win" regardless. Cambodians don't have 5 more years to
wait for political unity... It must happen now.

Thanks again.

Lok Virak,

The solutions, all the opposition parties must dissolve their parties and
organizes for, just one political party to takes on CPP.

Sam Rainsy, Kem Sokha and Pen Sovann and among others smaller parties
should stop express themselves as "If I don't lead who's going to lead "and/or
"follow my lead, because I am a top notch politicians."…this is why they are
failing all the elections, and because they do not show their unity to the
majority of the Cambodian voters.

Remember that in 1993, 1998 and 2003 the oppositions were winning the
majority of the Cambodian votes, but the CPP were leading the country. Why?
Because too many Chiefs without Indians. I should add to that also, egoism
plays
majority of the problems.
