With due respect to Historian Joe from America, the the battle of Dien Bien Phu occurred between March and May 1954, after Cambodia obtained its independence from France. Unlike Vietnam that obtained its independence from France with bloodshed, Cambodia did not shed a single drop of blood. That was the genius of Norodom Sihanouk.
