Whatever you think, the history cannot be changed. Cambodian society has always made to be believed that Cambodians are buddhists. They believed in buddhist. The history of Cambodian has proved that that notion is wrong. Cambodians believed in Buddhist when it benefits them. They destroyed it when their belief didn't benefit them. The history clearly showed it. They were believed that they were truely buddhists before the khme rrouge era. Then they showed their true belief when the Khmer rouge took over. They abolished their belief and started torture, disgrace humanity, killings, which all are against Buddhist philosophy. What kind of believers are they? They are not. They are just opportunists. Cambodians are not true buddhist believers.
