Yes, but all Khmer inhabitant of Vietnam and Thailand are not Cambodian as long as Cambodian goverment did not give them Cambodian citizen status aren't they? So all those Khmer are not automatically Cambodian. This is the reason that I said Khmer is not the same as Cambodian in English. And this is the big confusion in the Khmer language itself.
Look, each language must be the core of culture of one nation. If once declares that Khmer culture heritage foundation is self-evaluated as highly than other, Khmer empire should not be broken and become smaller and smaller than its neighbors. We should understand what means one nation's culture, which is the way of live of its people such as the way they educate their children, the way they play and listen music, the way they build their country, the way they do businesses and technology, etc.. Kankaroo, please tell me why Cambodian needs English or France for doing better education, if Khmer culture is so highly valuable than others? I think It should be barbarian!
