No matter how you see it, one thing is very clear, Len Nol regime didn't put any effort to gain support from its people, Military used their gun to rape women, to rob people, to distort people. Those activities caused the loss of people support. At last toward the day of Khmer Rouge victory, the people that nothing could be worse than Lon Nol regime. They believed that Khmer Rouge could not do worse, if they knew that Khmer Rouge wae going to harm them, They could have supported Lon Nol regime from the bottom of their hearts, They did not. So please do not sugar coat Lon Nol regime. They made the country difficult for the lives of the people. T lived through Chenla 1 and Chenla 2. I saw what they did.
