Hello Everyone,
Report on the ongoing ground glass project.
I rec'd Ron Baker's ground glass in the mail yesterday and installed it
on my camera back to check it out.
His glass gives an extremely sharp and smooth image as compared to my
sandblasted glass. The brightness is just as good as the sandblasted
glass. The thing I didn't like about my sandblasted glass was the
textured surface when viewing it with a loupe for super fine focusing.
The next thing I am going to do is get some of the stuff he uses and
make a couple pieces of 8x10 for my camera.
Ron could you post the name of the Alum' grit that you used again, so I
can track it down locally.
