Roger,

Sounds very interesting, especially since I just bought 2 3-A's.  I had
in mind something along the lines of what you're doing, in that they
will be substantially adulterated.  I want to set at least one of them
up for 70mm film.  Your curtain modification was brilliant.  I don't
know why I didn't think of that.  I also love your mirror modification. 
Neat stuff.
