Yes yes yes.

Any functionally essential widget should not be hidden from the user. If you
don't know to look for it, and it isn't there, you won't find it without
more effort than should be necessary. One can equate this to the option in
Windows that hides menu commands if you don't use them frequently enough.

I like the new tabs. If the favicons are deemed problems, /they/ should go,
not the close buttons.
