Good to know I'm not alone. At least now it's a known problem and I know how to fix it :). Just FYI, I'm on 10.3.8 running the April 1 nightly build so it's a persistant, if rare, problem.

preferences, and everything is back. I don't know
what the problem is.
I still feel that it had to do with having more than
one copy of Camino

That's a harmless warning that everyone gets,
actually, and has
nothing to do with having multiple copies of
Camino.
