Well, you can try that but I just checked the configuration file on my Debian Linux box, there are lots of other file types that aren't included by default. rpm, dpkg, .dc, .xsl, .iso. This really is the responsibility of the individual system administrator and not the Apache foundation to hold their hands. As users we like to be able to configure things the way we like them. System admins are exactly the same way. Web server admins and even webmasters do,however, need to respond to the needs of their users and in the case of a web server admin, that would include the people who use his servers services. The last time i checked, all attempts at writing libcrystal ball had failed miserably!! We all know which larger corporation has already tried .. and look at the mess it has created! Even if such a thing did exist it would only lead to a bloated browser .. everything Camino isn't. So, if you have problems with a particular server, use the contact names for the webmaster and complain. I'd be interested to hear the response from a complaint of this nature. I hope that the results would be positive, though that may be unwarranted optimism on my part. cheers, David -- David Fedoruk B.Mus.
