Yes, that is true.

And camput file. Not to mention that AFAIK you can't get the webui to
display things if you hand-crafted the schema I'm proposing. Besides, the
point of the proposal is to make the default file-based schema more generic
and less obsessed with the concept of files.

Yes, and I'm suggesting that we subtly change the schema so that it has
more semantic information and extendability.
