Start - Banbury
End - Thrupp
It was sunny first thing but it didn't last long before changing to wind
and rain. As we came through Banbury Pilgrim was moored by the shops and
we had a quick hallo. In Banbury there are lots of signs saying that
there is a £25 charge for overstaying on limited moorings. Several boats
had BW tags hung on them, They are hanging them on the tiller with a
tie wrap through the tiller pin hole.
The canal was quite busy but most of the boats were private today and we
made made good progress all day, after lunch the weather bucked up a bit
and we had a little drop of sun but the wind was blustery all day.We
moored for the night on the 7 day moorings at Thrupp for the night just
before 1900 hrs.
