Maybe not everyone's on holiday... I started many at day at around 6:00 (moving off time) last year. But I wanted to move the boat from top of the Stort to Whixall, and I could only get 17 days off - first Sat lost going to Essex (and shopping), then the Sun lost driving to Whixall and getting the train back to Bishop's Stortford. Leaving me with just 15 days travelling - by picking the route of least locks (still a couple of hundred...) we did it with half a day to spare.
