Canals are great fun, and one fo thing i think that makes them so
much fun is how flexable they are, as well as variyed and interesting
the craft and people are.
Moving a narrowboat around the canals is never going to be speedy,
but a number of people take great plesure in working there boat
though as swiftly and effenently as they can.
A lot of the time, infact, almost all the time, we take it very
lesurly with emiylanne, however, somtimes its nice to set yuorself a
bit of challenge, and really go for it.
- We had a gentle first few days from banbury to Ansty (just north
of rugby)
- But then the we (me and a my from uni) had a good run from there
all the way upto stone in the remaining two days, puting a couple of
15 hour days and clocking up 70miles 26locks in 48hours.
