I therefore conclude that the earth is getting lighter and moving into
an orbit slightly closer to the sun, and that explains global warming.
If it wasn't for the weight of the increased global population we would
be moving towards the sun faster, which would be an even worse thing.
Air travel causes problems because of all the metal and stuff used to
build aircraft which then take off, so the world is again made lighter,
and moves just a bit closer to the sun. Narrowboats are a good thing,
especially deep draughted ones, because they stick to the earth's
surface and keep it heavy compensating for all those people on Ryanair
and Easyjet.
Narrowboaters should one day be able to sell their "weight credits" to
those people who leave the surface of the planet, who will clearly be
faced with a gravity tax.
