Following up my own post because I just found a bit more on this;
The NZ farmers formed a group called Farmers Against Ridiculous Taxes !
The proposal was binned.
The whole thing arose in the first place because some idiot politician
signed them up to Kyoto, without thinking about what NZ has got which
actually generates greenhouse gases, that they would have to reduce :-)
