Even working local doesn't help.  I'm only 10 miles from work and unable to 
get to work before 9am by bus - The first bus of the day is at about 8am (a 
good 20mins walk to the stop first!), and gets to Heysham at 9:00, then I 
have another 15min walk to the dock estate.  Not to mention the same 
scenario coming back - and the last leg is all *uphill*.... :-(
