That's a good thought I will check I doubt if the wood would feel damp unless > there is a lot of damp coming through. Is the bottom of the panel even > darker? - it looks like the black line is getting wider - maybe a > plumbling leak from the radiator at floor level? You are quite right, the stain is darker nearer the floor. I have looked for a radiator leak and all seems well, but will check again.
