Hhmm. not sure I'd agree with you about that Phil. *In places* the
towpath is poor, I've not found the paddle gear particularly bad and
the gates are fine. It's a lovely rural waterway with, in places, an
excess of unlicensed, overstaying moorers IMO. Worth doing though for
gentle rural scenery.
Sounds like you need to eat more Weetabix before you come over! ;-)))
