I agree completely. We're on the SO now, having just come south from 
Foxton. First time we've been here in 3 years since the boat was first 
put in the water at the Rock, and I'd forgotten just how damn pretty it 
all is. The only negative was the queue through Napton flight, but then 
it was a Saturday, and I dare say weekenders were flooding out of a 
dozen or more marinas in the area. Caveat Cruiser!

We're currently moored at Upper Heyford - the towpath isn't up to much, 
but there's an excellent 'boaters car park'!
