Tricky.  Your 12V supply probably gives 12.0V.  You boat will do 14.4ish 
down to 11ish.  You need to know what you TV really wants in terms of 
voltage stability.  I assume the 12V from the power supply is DC and not 
AC - one of the original reasons for having 50 lines on a TV is that it was 
easy to use the mains frequency to generate the picture (and that's why 
there are 60 lines in the US) - having said that, it's not so important as 
it used to be.
