I am genuinely shocked, Eugene was the only person at British Waterways that could resolve what were sometimes impossible situations. He was the one person you could count on to solve any issues you had. As someone posted earlier, perhaps he was too good for the new British Waterways 'get as much money as we can and don't care about the customers' strategy. I will now NEVER return to the canals, how can we trust anyone if they don't want decent members of staff like him. Good luck Eugene, you have a lot to offer many a better organisation than the one BW has become in the last few years.
