I am transferring an LP called "Narrowboats" produced by the BBC in 1969 to CD (or possibly MP3). I remeember some conversation on this list from people trying to get the BBC to re-release this some years ago.
Anyway, after coaxing my turntable into use after some years of retirement I am nearing the goal of getting it onto the PC, all I need now is some software to remove the crackles, pops and so on. Anyone got any recommendations for some (preferably free) software? Cheers George "Bungle" Eycott
