I presume that was with a crew lock wheeling ahead so the lock was
ready to enter when the boat got there.  And did the botehr to close
up afterwards ?

Our record for a lock is 6 minutes and that was with a good crew I
cant see how one could cut that in half .

On the other hand I've sat and steamed withe half a dozen canaltimers
took 35 minutes to get through despite Chris's best efforts to educate
them.
