Just before the pedestrian bridge there
is what appears to be an arm going off to the right, I believe that this
is actually the old mill race and the water now flows through a culvert
under the flats at the end and under the road.

that they bought the place off-plan, as a near neighbour had alerted her & her
hubby to the fact that the mill was about to be demolished & a few more
