Isn't there a couple of landing/moorings where the old power station was so you 
can rush in an gamble in the new place. Passed there once before to note these 
moorings were closed for...BW moored up.

If there is such a site as Star City moorings I reckon it would be north
of Bridge 109 on what Nichs calls the Brm & Warwick Junction Canal. I have
a Geo Projects map on the wall here at Stourport from which it seems there
is/was a Nechells Shallow Lock No64, presumably once upon a time a stop
lock versus the Brm & Fazeley.
