I previous had a Ring Smart Charger (32A?) - which worked a treat for about two years being constantly connected to the battery bank. When it packed in about 6 months ago, I replaced it with a slightly cheaper Halfords Fully Automatic Charger (£37.99) - at ~2x the price of a "normal" charger. Both chargers automatically switch between charge and maintenence (trickle) mode.
