Hi Folks,

Me again. Thought I'd start a seperate thread for this one...

I've now got a nice new shiney alternator, unfortunately the fan belt
has mostly had it. It is one of them emergancy adjustable ones in
sections that were all the rage a few years ago, but now are as rare
as hens teeth. I've managed to find one, but it's not the same type,
and might not be long enough - will find out tonight.

The question is, the fan belt goes on the inside of the fly wheel, and
a normal belt wouldn't get over the fly wheel (not sure they even make
them that long!?!). Is there a better solution, or does every old
engine have this problem?

Cheers,

Mike
