That's quite interesting and gives a techncal explanation of what has probably been observed in practice without really understanding why. Wherever the O2 goes though, the end result is a more rapidly deflating tyre than with nitrogen..........but I shan't be going out to get my car tyres refilled. ;-)) Roger
