Thanks Tony - most helpful We couldn't smell anything either in the boat or in the bilge. But the boat was opened up when we got there.
As I said to Phil I beleive the water came from a leaking calorifier and teh owners paid a boatyard to fix it. However I have no confidence in the yard they chose . Regards Terry
