I have found a link to a web site which helps to explain how to make your own but it would be interesting to here from someone who has actually done it. We were at a motorhome show the weekend before last and there were 3 or 4 stalls selling LED conversions of nearly every type of bulb you could think of, I think they must have covered every light fitting that's available and some of them looked very home made, not that I am being derogatory its just that they looked reasonably easy to make up ? any suggestions would be welcome ----- Original Message ----- From: Nick To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, May 04, 2009 3:52 PM Subject: Re: [canals-list] Making your own LED bulbs Enodreven Yahoo wrote: > Hi, > > Have any of you tried making your own 12 volt LED bulbs to replace your existing normal filament bulbs, and if you have was it very difficult, only they do seem to be very expensive especially if you need quiet a few of them. No. I've been wondering about hacking up a voltage regulator - it's interesting that I can LED light fittings that work off built-in batteries for a couple of quid, yet have to pay a lot more for boat light fittings.
