Indeed. And as some people have expressed surprise, I'll remember as best as I can. BW (it may even have been BWB in those days) - showing their usual expert grasp of the waterways, and careful use of license revenue - put up a sign saying "No mooring in lock ponuds". Waterways World did a sort of caption competition on it, which was won by a rather witty explanation concerning Botch Locks - which helped me to remember it.
