Its a long time since she's been all the way to the end, but emilyanne (2ft8-9ish) has been on and of the Llangolen a fair bit. - For me the only thing of note is fact that the water leval goes up in the night (and falls in the early morning) so you tend to come in 6inchs closer to the bank and the have a bit of a shove to get off again.
