Just thought I would warn people to avoid mooring near the playground at Middlewich. We were sat having our tea when young yobs threw canal water through the hatch drenching my 91 year old mother. She needed her angina spray. Police were called and to their credit attended within 15 minutes. Witnesses identified the yobs. The police returned to inform us that the culprits had been to the station to apologise. I think they had been warned that the police were looking for them. Be vigilant when mooring there. Alan
