I now feel that any *big* ISP just takes the proverbail .... So now I'm with a medium sized one, that only takes orders from its re-sellers - so it's up to the re-seller to provide the extras (like web space and e-mail) and sort out all the problems, and he needs my custom to stay afloat. Also I do not get into long contracts - one month and I'm off elsewhere if I don't get the service *I* want. It may cost a couple of quid more, but I have a rock solid fast connection with *true* unlimited downloads in the off-peak time - no fair-use policy, etc. Ron Jones Process Safety & Development Specialist Don't repeat history, unreported chemical lab/plant near misses at http://www.crhf.org.uk Only two things are certain: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not certain about the universe. ~ Albert Einstein ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
