An update on an earlier comment in this thread re Llangollen moorings over winter. I was at the BW User Group meeting in Crewe on Monday and asked the specific question. The response was that they do not reserve a specific proportion of moorings there or anywhere else for short term visiting boats but no locations have sold out so they do not perceive a problem for visitors. Perhaps if people have a different experience over this winter they should write to BE and tell them.
Incidentally winter moorings in the old Wales & Border Counties region this year are £85/m in Llangollen and £65 everywhere else, which covers 1st November to 31st March. Get them while they last ;) Steve NB Bream
