I've noticed that there are a lot more moorings advertised in the back pages of the magazines of late. I assume it's mainly a result of several new marinas coming on stream, together with a response to the economic position which sees some boat owners selling up, and the boats rippling their way down the market, so that fewer are on formal paid-for moorings and rather more are "continuously cruising".
