No other reason. 2.8 was a try, to remove the frameset on the start and replacing it with bootstrap menu. It was just a pilot. It was mainly your doubts that this might having no future on the care2x market and so we stopped focusing it. We can even drop that brach out. I had not done it so far because I am not sure that the current frameset solution really has a long term future and maybe it should be a perspective to have an eye on it. "vieanna" shows another prototype of having some restructure of e.g. that smarty templates is no longer under gui folder, it is been removed to its module. Additionally some individual modules from Gjergj. We can take a look what makes sense to move it to 2.7.
