Hi, I am new to Caret and would like to start to use it to visualize results from MEG source localization on the PALS B12 surface.
However, I am having troubles to get the software running on my computer. I have an Ubuntu OS and downloaded the zip file provided on the website, but the ./install_caret file is missing. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Also I wanted to aks, if there is a way to read in the PALS B12 surface in MATLAB? I think restricting to metric etc and generally the strategy I outlined in my follow up is probably decent. a simple approach that captures most stuff in a simple way, and just ignores scenes, vectors or whatever. make them again. paint borderproj surfaces that are fiducials or inflated metric volumes one transform for surfaces. no transform for volumes (reorder the voxels instead, which neatly solves header issues and issues of multiple resolutions in one project. actually mri_convert might be nicer than fsl for doing that). no transform needed for those data files. I think. looking at them. also if you drop the borders (or convert them) all those things are expressable as gifti or nifti. like much else. which means you can move completely into matlab should you wish. or workbench. Gifti/nifti matlab is really good. not a replacement. but certainly an adjunct.
