Hi,No I haven't actually tried that. Indeed, it looks to me like the option on Ubuntu is actually configured in /etc/default/tomcat5.5 together with the following:
# WARNING: Do not disable the security manager unless you understand # the consequences!Which put me off somewhat although it doesn't matter on the machine I'm currently using. So, I've just tried that and low, and behold, I have deployed CAS and the login page appears. Now just what are the consequences of what I've just done?
