hi, i'm not a linux expert. I've tried centOS but I had trouble, especially with python package. Then I tried with ubuntu and it was fine.
my Linux Toolflow on 32 bit pc : Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS tools used: matlab 2008b xilinx ise 11.1 (ise10.1 will probably works also) python 2.6.5 with the known roach package . you will need to follow the explanation ( http://casper.berkeley.edu/wiki/Linux_xps)
