Hi Amit,

There is currently not firmware that supports static IP, this could be
changed with a few small modifications to the microblaze code and a
recompile of the microblaze, but I would recommend using DHCP where at all
possible. It should be an easy process to setup a DHCP server on your
laptop or the server that the SKARAB connects to.

Once you have an IP address you will want to change the firmware to the
latest CASPER firmware which will allow your board to be programmed over
the 40gbe as well as provide range of other features. This can be done
using the software Peralex supplied with the board or you can use our linux
port of that (Mail me and Ill give you access to the github repository) The
latest firmware bit streams can be found at
https://github.com/ska-sa/skarab_bsp_images.

Please give the wikipage a read
https://github.com/casper-astro/casper-hardware/wiki/SKARAB#Board_Support_Package

And as always, drop us a mail on the mailing list if you need any support.

Regards

Wes
