I am not aware of any committer that is actively using the net 2.0 branch. However, if you submit patches to fix bugs or backport a feature available in the trunk (net 3.5), then I sure a committer will apply it.
The branch is there to allow those that still need to use .net 2.0, however the decision was made to move on and require .net 3.5 for the trunk and future releases (there is an exception to that rule with Castle.Core and DP2 which we still intend to ship a .net 2.0 build for NHibernate).
