well, IMO v3.0 should be something major, and other than the merge/split there aren't many major changes really.

When the profile changed, ain't that a reason for a major version
update? 3.0 for both of them?

Well yes - but the profile of Core changed.

Now parts of it that were Windsor/MK specific were moved to Windsor
assembly.

also DynamicProxy is now major part of it.
As such since last version of DP was 2.2 I think it is reasonable to
up it to 2.5 since
what most people would be interested in is DP anyway.

I don't think there are many people actually interested solely in Core
and it would be awkward
to have a post v2.2 DynamicProxy in assembly with version 1.3

It states 1.3 for Core on the project roadmap.

Yes, 2.5 is what I was thinking about.
I would also update Core (with now DP included) to v 2.5 as well.

Hi,
To avoid confusion now MK and Windsor have merged we should update
the
version number of the trunk. The projects page (

what
it's going to be.
How about 2.5?

  BTW,
if no one objects, I will approach merging the assemblies during
this
weekend:
- Castle.DynamicProxy will be merged into Castle.Core
- Castle.MicroKernel will be merged into Castle.Windsor
- parts of Castle.Core that are targetted at IoC will be moved to
Castle.Windsor
