It would certainly help some users, but what about those who use both
Castor JDO and Castor XML and have questions about using them together?
I can't even begin to think about the amount of cross-postings that will
happen. So while you might reduce mail for some people, I think mail
will increase for all contributors and for those people who are on both
lists.

Of course...I for one and working on improving mapping functionality.

Take a look at the current CVS version. If you don't see the feature
you're looking for...ask to see if someone is working on it...if
not...then take a stab at it.
