just to get this straight, is your concern about splitting the existing
castor-dev list into a user community and a developer community, or about
separating Castor JDO from Castor XML from ... ?

Iow, do you agree that it would be a good idea to separate 'vanilla' (however
you want to define this .. ;-)) users from developers. I've seen the same
concept applied to many open source projects such as Cocoon, Struts, etc., and I
think that it has improved situations over all.
