i use a piece of hot water tank blanket over the top of rge food cut to fit
the shape of the ice box. i also freeze water in milk jugs in my freezer and
they seem to last 4 days.

My wife and I recently acquired a 1974 Catalina 27 in pretty decent
shape.
First, any recommendations for a good swim ladder? Ours leaves a lot to
be desired.
Also, I noticed on an overnight last summer that ice stored in the ice
bin did not last very long at all. Is there a way to better insulate
it?
