Fish out the vhf cable and disconnect it. The elect cable has a 4 pin plug that is probably wrapped in tape. Pull the wire bundle out and disconnect it. This way, I am not scrambling around to disconnect wires with the mast hanging from the crane. Once the mast is lifted up a few inches, pull the wire out of the hole in the mast butt.
